This is a great prize for a charity to receive because they could use it to honor a special kitty or volunteer, or they could use it for a fundraiser by offering it as an auction or raffle prize. The retail value is $150, so that could be a very nice fundraiser.

This would be such a special portrait of our precious Tiger, our Maine Coon that crossed over the Rainbow Bridge at the age of 20. I would love this painting to be of him and our little feral cat, Misty Star, who cared for him and was his close companion until he died. She and we miss him so much. This would be an amazing gift for me because my cat, Jayden, is my life. He’s like me and my fiance’s son that we could never have.. Had some misfortunate events happen early this year and without Jayden, I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through it. If I had his portrait to always remember him by, I would never have a void in my heart where I couldn’t look at his precious face everyday. Also the cats at Sacramento Cats on the River would, I’m sure, appreciate this as they would have beautiful portraits to speak to the wonderful work they do in feeding and saving kittens and cats along the sacramento river/delta.

My cat Oy is my baby. I rescued him when he was 4 years old and he is so grateful, he stands on his hind legs for a hug every day when I come home from work. I would be extremely appreciative of this prize and I know the Whatcom Humane Society would be as well!
