I’m excited to share with you a project that my friends Ashley and Nikki of I Love Rescue Animals are putting together for 2011. These two young women are truly extraordinary and they have dedicated their lives to promoting animal rescue. Ashley came up with a great idea to help promote their cause. Each day of 2011 she is going to wear a different t-shirt from an animal rescue organization. The plan is to blog about the organization, provide information and links on the I Love Rescue Animals website, and promote via YouTube and other social media outlets.
So what does Ashley need to get going? Shirts! This is a great opportunity for you to help promote your favorite animal rescue, plus there are other ways you can help out, too. Get all the details on the I Love Rescue Animals website, including how to send a t-shirt from your organization.

With so many needy cats and so many wonderful cat sanctuaries and rescues out there, this is bound to be a great way to increase public awareness and save more precious lives!

Thank you SO much for sharing this with your readers, Kate! You do such great things for animals too – I loved your week dedicated to feral cats! I agree with the commenter above that there are so many cat rescues that could benefit from exposure. I hope we can accomplish that with this project!
