Here’s a giveaway I know you’ve all been waiting for! The wonderful folks at Sleepypod are offering the winner’s choice of either an original Sleepypod carrier or their new Sleepypod Air carrier! The giveaway winner will get to choose and the same carrier will be sent to the winner’s chosen charity. Theses carriers would be great for transporting rescue kitties, or the charity could use it as a fundraiser for an auction or raffle prize. Win win!
If you don’t already know about the Sleepypod carriers, then you should. Sleepypods are the Cadillac of cat carriers! The original dome-shaped carrier converts to a bed when at home so kitty can travel in familiar surroundings. It has a removable, washable plush liner and a plug-in heater that you can use at home or in your car. Toasty!

The new Air carrier is designed for jet-setting kitties. The Air carrier adapts to fit under various airline seats, and easily expands when there’s a little more room.

To enter, please leave a comment on this post telling us which carrier you’d choose and also leave the name of your charity. The winner will be announced on Christmas Eve along with all the other give-a-thon winners.

The Sleepypod Air Carrier looks supremely comfortable and has great style. I would like to see one go to the Nine Lives Foundation shelter, which pulls cats from shelters across California who have run out of time.

I would choose the Sleepypod carrier, I do not travel by plane, so the Sleepypod carrier is perfect.
And I would love to win so I can share this wonderful cat napper with my favorite charity Kindred Kitties (a no kill shelter) – I adopted 2 of my 3 boys from them they are awesome and really care about the kitties, they even follow up on adopted kitties. Which totally rocks.

This would be perfect for the spring time trips to the vet. With 6 cats to look after I am always looking for ways to make vet trips easier. I long since opted for the newer styled carriers over the bulky plastic crate type carriers. The air travel carrier would be perfect for slipping over my carrier with wheels. Making multi kitty trips easier and less stressful. What a great idea.

It is an amazing design, very well made, everything zips apart and is cleanable. The perfect carrier and bed, right? Wrong! My cat would not go anywhere NEAR this! When I threw toys into it, he would try to grab them out without touching the interior and when I put him in it, his feet barely touched the bottom before he leaped out. He appeared to be afraid of how dark the interior is. Also, it is very soft, maybe too soft. I have a very expensive one at home. Too pretty to return. Maybe he will like it when he is older.

The Sleepypod Air carrier is beautifully designed with form and function in mind. I would feel very fortunate to be able to replace one of our older carriers with this much safer, more comfortable model. And if I were chosen, I would love to share the second carrier with The Oregon Humane Society (www.oregonhumane.org).

I just had to take each of my cats to the vet using a cardboard box. Needless to say, that didn’t last too long — the little cat burst her way through the top in about 5 seconds flat. Just about gave the vet receptionist a heart attack. So I really need a true carrier — for everyone’s safety! Charity of choice would be the New Haven Cat Rescue Project!

I love the new sleepy pod air carrier and I know Romeo, my 16 lb. snowshoe Siamese rescue would too. His tummy gets upset sometimes in the car and he would really appreciate a carrier like yours that would let me seatbelt him in for security and yet still be able to see out of the top and sides of the carrier. I would donate the other carrier to Sante D’or pet rescue in Los Angeles. They are the angels that helped me find my Romeo and also helped us adopt his friend Piccolo, our new tuxedo kitten.

The sleepod air would be ideal to bring home my two siberians in style. They have a very long flight ahead of them and this would make them feel very safe and secure. I love the orange color…it is just purrfect!

I would love the air carrier in a cool color like silver! I would like the non-profit Kitty Devore Rescue to receive the other carrier as they do so much transporting in an effort to save cats from the Devore Shelter – a very high kill shelter in California.
