With all the cold weather across the US lately, feral cat caregivers have been scrambling to keep their outdoor buddies warm, but the caregivers need to stay warm, too! Well Catnip Hill has just the thing — warm fleece feral cat hats. Available is small, medium, large, and extra large, these adorable hats come in assorted colors and patterns. If you order one, the color will be a surprise, just like with kittens!
As we learned during TNR Week here on Moderncat last September, feral cats that have been trapped and spayed or neutered, have their left ear tipped as the universal sign that they have been fixed. So, of course, these feral cat hats have a left ear tip, too – I love it!
Catnip Hill’s feral cat hats sell for $20 each and one third of the sale will be donated to Carol’s Ferals, a TNR organization in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The hats are available from the Catnip Hill Etsy shop and on ArtFire.

These are SOOOOOO cute! I am going to get one for my colony feeding days.
BTW the clinic who fixes our ferals tip the right ear. Our Dori has her right ear tipped as does the rest of the colony. I think it depends on the vet/clinic.
On a sunny note Dori is our 4 year old former feral turned indoor house cat. Stinker that she is she sleeps on our pillows at night.

Oh, these are sooo cute! I’m definitely buying one! Our ferals here in Washington & Oregon are eartipped on their right ear. It depends on the state. But either way, I absolutely love that the ear is tipped!!!
