Much Love Animal Rescue in Los Angeles is sponsoring Cat Guy Week this week. They want to get the message out that it’s okay to be a cat guy! And most Moderncat readers, I’m sure, would say that it’s not just okay, but it’s awesome!
In honor of Cat Guy Week in LA, I asked Moderncat fans to post their cat guy pix on Facebook, and look at the results! Check out all the photos and comment on the Moderncat Facebook page and while you’re there, please post your own pix.

My “cat guy” wouldn’t want me to post pics. I also don’t have any “cat guy” pics of him, but he definitely IS one. He’s so great to my fur babies and even brought one of his own with him when he moved in.

Great photo of Sebastian & Peter! Isn’t it wonderful to have “Cat Guys” in our lives? My brother & sister-in-law were visiting this weekend and my sister-in-law said, “Bob, I didn’t know you liked cats.” Like cats? 5 cats in the house at the moment, Cat World every 6 weeks or so and an absolute love fest with Kermit. I’d say he more than likes them!

If I ever find out that a guy I’m seeing does not LOVE cats, he’s history. Cats are too big a part of my life to make room for a guy who doesn’t love them. Being single at the moment, though, I’d love to have a few cat guys sent over so we can choose. Or maybe not…;)

Cat Guy Week! Transparently hilarious.
This is right up there with carrying around a guitar you have now idea how to play, wearing a phony cast in the ski lounge or asking some babe at the beach to help you find the Gold Lifesaving Medal you lost in the sand.
Suggesting Hallmark Channel movies, candlelite poetry readings and agreeing that all men (except the guy in question, of course) are knuckle-dragging neanderthals with only one thing on their minds are good too.
What’s next? “Real Men Love Llamas Month” or, maybe, “Babes Don’t Put Out for Guys That Don’t Nurture Ground Squirrels Week”?
And the ladies fall for it every time. Some things never change…
