These beautiful ceramic works of art are not just another pretty piece of sculpture, they are lovely little drinking fountains designed just for cats. Ceramic artist Keith Davitt has been refining his drinking fountain design for years and he has several styles that cats seem to love. What a great way to keep kitty hydrated and add a lovely fountain to your home.
These fountains are very simple, making them easy to keep clean. Each one comes with a unique glazed bowl and a pump, and most designs include a raised pottery piece that creates a little waterfall. The pump is hidden between the ceramic pieces and the cord goes neatly out the bottom portion of the bowl. All materials and glazes are certified food safe.
Keith sent us a fountain to test and, as you can see below, Simba loves it (and so do all the others!) The fountain was very easy to set-up and it looks so nice on the ledge above the kitchen counter. You can see the three simple pieces included in the package: bowl, pump with cord, and pottery cover for the pump. I adjusted the pump to create a little bubbling fountain because I like the sound of trickling water, but the pump can also be adjusted to keep the water moving silently.

The kitty below is Bijou, Keith’s cat who is the inspiration for his fountains. Keith is always experimenting with new fountain designs. You can see his latest work in his Etsy shop. Fountains range from $62 to $178, depending on the complexity of the design.

I have a two year old cat and a new maine coon kitten, The kitten will only drink fresh cold water and will not go back to the bowl a second time. He will wait for me to change the water every time. My older cat will only drink from the toilet as it flushes. I hate that. This cat fountain would be a godsend at our house.

I’m so tired of plastic fountains. I live in a small apartment so everything is very visible. What a beautiful piece of art this would be to have in Cally and my home. Cally is 2 years old. She is a beautiful long haired ferrel calico cat who has turned into my best friend. She loves a fountain and would love this. Thank you.

My baby loves drinking from clean fresh cold flowing water which right now happens to be from the tub faucet( 3-5 x’s) thank goodness we are hooked up to a well,he use to have a fountain until my ex got a huge dog and 2 other cats which made it difficult to keep up with the filtration and keeping it clean,I have been promising my baby a new fountain which will probably be Christmas or after the new year he sure loved the one we had and he drank a lot more water and did not have to wait for me.

We rescued a Rag Doll kitten (found her in an area with no houses, believed to have been abandoned), she was so sick and after many vet visits is now healthy, beautiful and full of personality. She will only drink from running faucets. I have been looking for a water fountain for her but it cannot have any plastic for she has an allergy to plastic. The blue bowl with the water running off of the center flower is the perfect one for her and is so Beautiful. I have been looking for months and cannot find anything that would look nice and be functional. I had seen the ones for sale on the Etsy site and was contemplating the frog one but after seeing this blue one knew that is exactly what I was looking for. The frog is so cute but not enough of a stream for her that not sure she would use it. Please how can I get the beautiful blue fountain?

My little Himalayan girl forms crystals in her bladder and she’s already had one surgery to remove them. She’s on a special diet food that makes her thirsty all the time so she’ll drink lots of water. The only problem is, she insists on drinking out of the faucet and refuses to drink from a bowl. One of these fountains would literally be a lifesaver for her. These fountains are truly works of art and I’d really love to have one for her.

Brilliant and beautiful handcrafted fountains. I’m glad my cats can’t see this–they would refuse their ordinary bowl.

One of my five cats gets feline acne from a plastic fountain, but until now I didn’t have an option to keep the bacteria from growing in her dish. These lovely ceramic fountains are the answer!
