Now this probably isn’t a camera that one of the photographers in our pet photography Q & A series would use, but if you’re looking to take some fun pix of your cat, the Meow Pix Camera might be for you! This is a Holga 35mm film camera, similar to the original Holga toy cameras that came from China in the early 1980s. These fun little plastic cameras take low fidelity images that have a retro look (like the images created with the Hipstamatic iPhone app and some other iPhone photo filters).
The Meow Pix Camera has some special features designed just for photographing cats, like flashing colored lights around the lens and meowing sound effects to catch kitty’s attention. There’s a cute winking kitty face painted on the front of the camera and it comes in reusable pop-top kitty can. If I had one of these, I would take even more cat photos!

I always click my fingernails on my wedding ring to get my cats attention. Never thought of a camera that CATERS to animals and gives them a reason to look at it! HOW AWESOME!!!
