If you live in or around Mill Valley, CA and you have to go out of town, your cat may just have nicer accommodations than you while you’re away! Kitty Charm School has just opened a new 3,000 sq ft facility outfitted with some wonderful looking kitty bunk houses and modern amenities. If you’re looking for a perfect cat boarding facility, look no further.
Kitty Charm School was stared by cat lover Sarah Haynes, who originally began fostering cats in the 2-room guest suite at her home. Some of the foster cats that were considered “unadoptable” flourished under Sarah’s care and went on to become charming and beloved pets. The name Kitty Charm School was appropriately given to what Sarah was doing. She then tested the idea for a kitty B&B, and after multiple 5-star Yelp ratings, decided to expand into the new, larger facility.

Sarah and her staff obviously care a great deal for the cats. It shows in the environment they’ve created and the care that they offer. Each cat, or family of cats, gets their own private suite, plus they have daily access to a larger playroom and lots of love and attention, at no additional charge. The new facility offers suites to accommodate one to four cats starting at just $22 per day. Get all the details at www.KittyCharmSchool.com.

This is an amazing place and what a great idea Sarah came up with. I hope more of these start up around the country. So much better than leaving your kitty at a pet store for boarding.
Sarah obviously has a lot of love for cats. It really does look better than many of the hotels I’ve stayed in!

Ughhhh this place is INCREDIBLE. I want my cat to stay here so bad!
I’m looking for a really good cat hotel in Northern California and I wish I could take her here, but it’s so far out of the way of our road trip :/

Wow, this place is incredible! I so wish there was someplace like this near me where my 3 could “vacation” while I’m away.

It looks nice but I don’t like how the cats are so close to their “neighbors” in those blue “loft areas”…
For one thing a lot of cats would get stressed or irritated by having strange cats so close, for another what if one got sick? They could sneeze right into the other cat’s area and spread URIs or diseases.

Mill Valley has long been an enlightened and incredibly beautiful spot for all kinds of creative and compassionate people — this looks like THE place for cats! Shared to my fb page, with a nod to ModernCat.com, of course

thank you for all the great postings! It has been so much fun to read these, we have only been open 2 weeks!
Shelley – call me to book! 415-389-meow
Lizzi – no worries, we are on top of that! the little squares that were cut out of the sky box sides, they pop back in if a kitty doesnt like their neighbor or shows any sign of stress. we even have cute fabrics that we drop over them so they are closed off entirely, should a kitty prefer to hide. also, if a kitty even so much as sneezes, we have a separate quarantine room that has it’s own air system (but if we really think they are sick, they go straight to the vet). lastly, we book “every other” room always, so as to give kitties maximum space form others. those you see in boxes next to each other came together. of course at holiday time we will have more kitties and may have them closer together.
thank you for the comments!!
