A while ago, I introduced Colony Cats, a wonderful animal rescue in central Ohio. They have a beautiful cat adoption center in Columbus, OH, plus they have all sorts of wonderful programs to help address the cat overpopulation problem in central Ohio, including an active TNR program.
Right now Colony Cats is running a very interesting fundraiser that I wanted to share with you. They are raffling off a condo — not a cat condo, a REAL condo! Their “House for Homes” raffle is seeking to raise $125,000 for Colony Cats to help them find homes for abandoned animals. They will sell no more than 2500 tickets at $100 each, so the odds of winning could be pretty good. You can purchase as many tickets as you like at $100 each. The drawing will take place on May 7, 2011. All the raffle details can be found at HomeForAHundred.net.

What an interesting fundraiser! Not what you would expect for a rescue organization.

PLEASE purchase a raffle ticket so they can continue to save more cats from death row and the streets!!

Oooh, how lovely! And for such a great cause, too. Ohioans are lucky!
