Although definitley not modern, I had to post these authentic French Country cat beds from Etsy seller Cadeaux de Catherine because they are very well done and the kitty photos are fabulous. They would make an interesting juxtaposition of style in a modern home or they would certainly work well if your decorating style is French Country or even eclectic.
Each one is unique, made from authentic French crates or other rustic wooden containers. Thick, comfy looking cushions are custom made for each bed using fabrics in keeping with the French Country theme. Cushion covers are removable and washable. All are handmade in France and sell for between 80 and 95 Euros.

I am in LOVE with the French Trug Cat Bed!!! I’m a bit addicted to pet beds, though. I recently donated around 40 of them (all different shapes and sizes), and still have too many to use/store at the same time!

Adorable cats (but then, every cat is!) and interesting theme — though not a europhile myself, I have my mom’s French Provencal furniture in storage if I ever get the uncontrollable urge for that style.
