Here’s a brand new find from a US-based manufacturer who’s committed to the health and safety of your cat, as well as the environment. Introducing Catpods, a collection of sturdy cardboard cat furniture that’s made right here in the USA. Catpods are created by Green Cat Industries using industrial strength corrugated cardboard and non-toxic water soluble adhesives. Each piece is designed to last for years, not months.

The line includes The Original Catpod, a tunnel of cardboard with a curved top and little peep holes in the sides. Kitties love to curl-up inside or jump on top for a good scratch. The Kitten Pods are perfect for kittens and petite cats. Puzzle Loungers are designed for curious kitties who will poke their paws through the holes to get at toys underneath, or they can plop down on top for a nap. And finally the Kitty Speed Bumps can be scattered around the house to give kitty a place to file her nails.

With prices ranging from $19.95 to $69.95, the Catpods are affordable options for keeping you, kitty, and the planet happy. Visit Catpods.com to order.
Thanks to Moderncat reader Lauren for the find.

Perfect! One can can be sleeping inside, and another can annoy them by scratching.
I know that sounds like a negative comment, but it’s actually exactly what my cats will do just to be brats. They’d love this.

These are perfect little pods for Mills and Poppet! Poppet would love the tunnel and Mills would love to scratch and what a great price too!

I am definitely going to get the cat pod with the 2 speed bumps and also either one more cat pod (the other style) or the little thing on the floor with holes. As long as I keep the speed bumps in the cat room, I won’t break my neck tripping over them in the hallway! Really super cool.

Those are cool, but I think they’d be a lot more attractive without the paw prints and big logo on the front.

I love these! I have 7 boys and they love anything they can scratch. I’m going to get 2 of the Original Catpods plus kitty speed bumps.

I used to think that all of the cardboard cat items were overpriced and pretty much worthless. Someone gave me a cardboard lounger for our cats that usually retails for around $20. I was surpised at how long it has lasted and how much the cats love it. They actually knock each other off to get on it. Three of my cats were feral so trimming their nails isn’t an option. They have ripped boxes to pieces but surprisingly the pressed cardboard lounger has held up to their antics. Five cats have been working in it for almost a year now and it still has some life left in it. When they finally do destroy it I won’t think twice about getting them a replacement. They really are worth the price.

i agree, but i’m considering grabbing one and painting over the offending marks with some water-based paint, or maybe gluing some pretty fabric to the ends.

My kitty, Hilda, prefers the cardboard scratchers to anything else.

These look like fun. One of mine would love to get her teeth on this – she chews all available cardboard. I agree that it would look better without the paw prints and large logo.

These things are awesome The first kitty cardboard thing we bought for our home was one for scratching and they really held up well we have all total 24 kitties at the present time some outside and some in so I do alot of cleaning as you might have figured and alot of love and care goes into all of them we also have a very nice shelter for all the kitties outsidePeople who like kittens don’t always like them as cats (VERY SAD) So yep we end up with quite a few and most are pretty sick by the time they either find us or get brought to us!! found wonderful homes for 64 so far!!!! but these pods are so fun to look at and can be used by much more than one!!! and being ECO FRIENDLY IS A GIANT WHOOOT WHOOOT !!! I WANT ONE!!!
