I just had to post this incredible vintage coffee table by the grand daddy of cardboard design, architect Frank Gehry. Clearly, the owners of this gorgeous piece of furniture did not have cats.

Well, if Target can knock off your scratching post for the masses, surely there is some way you could knock this off of those of us with six (or more) cats (and way less bucks) … it’s gorgeous!!!

I had to check this out since we have a polydactyl cat in our foster program named Six!! That is great!! Love the design.

if there is any hole/door that kitty can actually go inside of the scratcher (and you can see her from the glass), that would be cute and fun. but i know it does not look stylish …

This is DIVINE! Love the Design!
I would put a pillow on top with a painted sign: For CATS Only!

I’ve always seen his cardboard stuff and thought it was great, but I never thought about the possible implications of having such a piece and a cat! Funny funny. Thanks for the smile!

Ah, but maybe they DID have cats! I would love this in our home — just think of the pleasure that can be had by the whole clowder!

It would be cool to the max to have a scratching post designed by Frank Gehry. I’m thinking of the documentary, Sketches of Frank Gehry, and I believe there may have been a cat in it:)

I love this! I can just imagine that glass table-top tilting and sliding off as the cats “whittle” down that base!

Throw a kitten in the middle and watch him go! Kidding, of course! Obviously not for cat owners.

Cute, but I not sure I want my kitties scratching underneath the glass top.
