Legendary fashion designer Bob Mackie has created costumes for Hollywood’s elite, including; Katy Perry, Beyonce, Cher, Madonna, Diana Ross, Pink, Tina Turner and Jennifer Lopez. And now, for the first time, after being asked for many, many years, he’s finally releasing reproductions of his sketch archives to the public.
Being a cat lover himself, (he owns 3 cats!) Mackie decided to include a series of prints dedicated to cats called “Kitty Kat Klub”. All six prints come in three different color combinations and Bob personally choose the matte and frame for each fine art giclee. The collection will be sold exclusively online at the newly re-designed BobMackie.com. The prints from the Kitty Kat Klub collection are priced at $69 for a 14”x17” print, matted and framed.

Am I dating myself by saying Mr. Mackie’s costumes for the Carol Burnett Show and Cher were a highlight each week? (I was a young girl at the time!).

Ilike #2 (tan with green bow) It represents no one cat, in particular ….but all cats! I love ‘ALL’ cats, feral, stray, owned, sheltered, abused, unloved, etc., etc. ….send them to me, for love and protection.

These tasteful, happy prints would complement my granddaughters bedroom wonderfully. I would be grateful to be able to give her one for Christmas in honor of a white cat we have lost recently. The green would be best for her. She could look at it and think of Rowdy as being happy.

I love them all!
I think my favorite is Green #5 it makes me think of my Kittys when they decide to ignore me and turn there back to me. It shows how cats can be so independent.

I really like the pink version of #5. When we do something our cats don’t like they always go and sit with their backs turned at us.
