Italian and French architect Marina Sciarrino is the designer of Petsmood, a new line of ultra-modern European pet furniture. These pieces are much more like architecture than pet beds and they demonstrate how beautifully cat furniture can integrate into a modern home.

There are several cat-specific designs in the collection: Saltato, a multi-level perch with elegant wood grain laminate options; Intellato, a sleek climbing tower; and Librato, a room divider that is perfect for kitties. I can’t think of a more elegant way to divide a space.

Other designs in the collection include several modern pet beds that integrate human seating or a surface that can be used as a side table. Prices range from 1300 € to 2500 € and it looks like these items are only available in Europe at the moment, but we can all daydream about owning them someday.

Somehow, I don’t feel any regret that tbese aren’t available domestically; they really don’t do a thing for me.

For those of you that don’t want to do the math, that’s $1800-$3400.
Sorry, Charlie. You can get by on your carpeted monstrosity from Petco.
