We absolutely love our pEi Pod pet bed — the cats are always in it and I love how it looks in the living room. I was, however, not thrilled with the cushion that comes with the bed, so I asked the US distributor for permission to create a line of cushions through Moderncat Studio just for the pEi Pod and here they are!
First, I wanted some more modern fabric options so I chose an assortment of fun prints in hip colors. All of these fabrics are machine washable and each cushion is quilted with two layers of thick polyester batting inside for extra kitty comfort with a sleek look.
Second, I found that the cats were always slipping around on the cushion inside the bed, sometimes ending up underneath it, so I added Velcro to the bottom of the cushion to keep it in place. One side of the Velcro is sewn onto the bottom of the cushion and the other side has an adhesive backing that sticks to the inside bottom of the bed. Now the cushion can be easily secured in place and removed for cleaning. No more sliding around!
We only made a handful of these special cushions to see how they sell. They are currently listed in the Moderncat Studio Etsy shop for $22 each plus shipping. Please let me know what you think!

Your beautiful cushions are perfect! The colors are great and I love the velcro that keeps them from sliding! How clever of you to come up with such a perfect solution to the slippage problem! I love these cushions!

Those are amazing! I plan to purchase a pEi pod really soon. and whenever I do, I would really consider getting a custom cushion from you! those are beautiful!
