Found Animals is hosting a celebration this weekend to officially launch their 6 Packs/9 Lives 2012 Calendar, which features a full year of cat-loving hunks for your enjoyment. The event will be held on Saturday, November 19 from 4 to 6 pm at The Abbey in West Hollywood. If you live in the Los Angeles area, you won’t want to miss this fun free event! Celebrity photographer Adam Bouska will make a special appearance, along with several of the hunks featured in the calendar. Stop by and show your support for the great work they do at Found Animals!
If you can’t make it to the event, you can still join in the celebration! Found Animals is offering a special prize package exclusively for Moderncat readers! The package includes the 6 Packs/9 Lives 2012 calendar along with an assortment of cat toys, some tasty cat treats and cat food, a trendy cat collar, a fun laser toy, some yummy catnip and more. To enter, please leave a comment on this post. The winner will be chosen in a random drawing and announced on November 18, 2011. One entry per person. This giveaway is limited to addresses in the US.

I have 6 kitties (had lucky 7-now have 6) and 1 bunny (bunny is new addition…hopped into neighbors yard(for reals)….now it’s ours (yep-we are either suckers or hoarders)!
We had the bunny neutered within 3 weeks of having it. He was already litter trained, now he doesn’t drop poops anywhere but his box. We think some a@hole must have dumped him.
He would not have lasted-he’s big and white- there is an eagle and a hawk that live close.
We are thankful to those who rescue, find, adopt from the shelter, catch and release (spay/neuter) ferals. Xoxox !!!!!

This is a great idea and I love it! All our cats came to us because they were brought into my work (vet hospital) without ID’s, microchips, and all had something wrong with them (all 6 are healthy now!). Identification for our feline friends is extremely important – I see first-hand how many pets that are obviously loved and cared for get lost and are unable to return home. Any group that works towards helping lost pets find a new home, or return home, is a great group to me!

Ooh la la! And the cat toys are an added bouus! Thank goodness for animal rescue groups. My 5th kitty and her brother were found in a dumpster in Tennessee.
