Wny would you consider *vegan* shoes to be a plus factor? You choose to live with carnivores; their food is a by-product of human meat production, and so is leather!
Leather shoes are much more durable than fabric shoes.
And besides, there are hidden “animal products” in more things than you might think. Glue used to hold these shoes together may well have been made using animal byproducts (rendered animal parts).
Please rethink this attitude/idea!

To Sheila, most glue nowadays no longer contains animal byproducts, as consumers have demanded this over the years. Vegan products are becoming more and more popular, because people just don’t need to rely on animal carcasses to survive. The rubber soles on these shoes would do just fine holding up, and I for one do not buy any leather products, because I care for the animals too much. I don’t think your negative attitude is welcome here. These shoes are cute and if you don’t like them, then you don’t need to buy them, simple as that. But leave those alone who appreciate the concept.
