The cardboard pieces are held together with compression, so there are no adhesives or glues. The scratcher attaches to the wall with heavy-duty white powder coated steel brackets.

Like Tracey said, these are perfect for my small apartment! My Mini’s tower got worn out & she got too tall to use the bumpers previous tenants put on the corners when babyproofing. Now my poor new couches are bearing the brunt! Cozmo was declawed years ago bc he had an attitude problem, but he still tries to use the tower, so cute
