   I bought one of these last year for Punch (our cat) but she refused to use it – now I’m tempted to buy another because I love it even more in pink.

   Any one try one of these with a really big cat? I like the look but I dont want to spend that kind of cash if my cat wont fit in the opening

   That’s an interesting design. Is that the litter box? I’ve been using the small size pans that are used for mixing cement – get them at Loew’s for about $5 ea. They’re not pretty but they’re practical. I’m just wondering how this design works. Or is just to hold clean litter.

    Sandy, yes, it’s a litter box. I have one for my boy and he loves it. They enter through the hole in the top, then stick their head back out while they do their business. I think it makes them feel more secure. People worry that it’ll be too small for their large cat, but I actually have another top-entry litter box that looks like a storage bin with a hole cut in the lid (called clevercat) and my cat rarely uses it even though he’s usually closer to it when nature calls. Cats love modkat!

    This is the coolest invention ever! When I first saw it, I thought it was just a litter storage container. I even thought that was a pretty nifty idea. Then, I watched the videos! If those cats can eventually figure it out, Calleigh the (14 pound) Calico can surely wrap her paws around this in no time! We would have to start off with one, probably in black, (that pink, however, might be just girlie enough to get her to behave), and then try training the other two. I am hooked on this concept. I loved how the kitty’s head popped out of the hole while he was doing his business. Too much!!

    I love the box, but why does it have to be so expensive? Even with a discount, it’s still very pricey.
