Here’s another stylish way to help avoid “whisker stress”, the problem caused when a cat’s whiskers rub against the sides of a bowl when eating. It’s the new Whisker Stress Free Bowl from Trendy Pet. It has a wide, shallow ceramic dish that rests on a cool little modern base. The dish is raised to just the right size for cats and the base is made of water resistant BPA-free plastic that’s easy to keep clean. The feeder measures 8″ wide by 5.5″ deep by 4″ tall. Available from TrendyPet.com for $46.

This concept is ingeniousness! Two of my three cats, during eating, scoop some food onto the floor and eat it.
All three litter mates would treasure this>

In all my years (73) of having cats as pets, I never noticed them having stress in eating. I notice they fold? them back along their jaw when they eat, is that stressful?

Looks beautiful and functional, almost shaped to feel like they are eating from the palm of your hand.

I like this idea. I have a Persian cat that has on and off sinus problems. Sometimes when he puts his head down to eat, his sinus’s plug up, he can’t breathe, and so has trouble eating. I’ve often wondered if putting his food dishes up higher would help him with this problem when he tries to eat? Thanks for the info, I will check into these nice looking dishes.

These would be great. My cats always pull the food out of their bowls and eat off their placemats.

Our cats don’t have a problem with licking a bowl clean. Do all cats get this “whisker stress” or are some more prone to it than others?

Wow!
I did not know that this was a problem for cats. Thanks for the information. My kitties eat out of bowls so, I need three of these, please.
Thanks!

People don’t spend your money on this.
feed your cats on a plate and spend the $46. on some toys or food.
