With a 9 month old kitten in the house, I’m constantly looking for distractions that will hold his attention for as long as possible, so I was thrilled when the folks at Aïkiou sent me the Stimulo activity center for cats to test. Stimulo was originally designed to slow down speedy eaters. The toy comes with a sturdy base that holds tubes of different lengths. You put kitty’s dry food in the bottom of the tubes and she has to dig around to get it, slowing down her chow time and helping with digestion.
We don’t eat dry food, so I filled up the Stimulo with small toys and set it down for Andy to explore. It does the trick! He will work away until most of the toys are out, then he plays for a while and goes back to clean it out. I stuff the toys back in periodically and he’s thrilled.

This looks awesome. I wonder if this would help all my rescue cats with feeding issues from having starved? They seem to want to wolf their food then cannot keep it down. I will have to try it!

Me and my husband were just discussing how much we need something like this. We rescued our cat who is obese and was on anti-depressants. He has now lost a lot of weight but we have to put his food in a ball which he has lost somewhere in the house. Finding it hard to think of inventive ways for him to get his food. This would be ideal!

This is ace, my cat is 2 but still looks and acts like a kitten, and if she isn’t teasing my dog, she is always playing with something, usually a dropped piece of the kids lego or a little ball, she would love this.
