This is a one-of-a kind falling water cat drinking fountain by metal artist Marc Russo. He crafted the fountain after watching his cat drink from a running faucet. It’s so beautiful and modern! I hope he decides to produce these for sale someday.

We’ve been through many water fountains for our cats. I love the concept of this one. The water is in the middle, it’s all stainless, I just think that the spout is way too large. Most cats – well at least my four don’t like that much water coming out of the spouts or faucets at one time. Plus with everyone of our fountains, if the bowl isn’t large enough or if the spout isn’t in the middle of the bowl – water ends up everywhere. Do you see that these will start to be mass produced? It is much more stylish that any other that I’ve seen and again love the concept.

OMG my cat would think he’d died and gone to heaven! And the “cat alarm” would quit going off in the morning cause I wouldn’t need to get up and turn on the sink for him!!!

Love,love this fountain!

That is so neat for the summer for my cat jesilou!

I absolutely LOVE this fountain… So cool.

Nice, but my cats would be bathing in this, thus emptying the contents on the kitchen floor! There are actually commercial cat water fountains on the market for $40+ that are a little more mess-adverse; we have the
Drinkwell 360 Cat Fountain which we really like.

Me likey

That is really cool!

This is one of the nicest fountains i have seen! I love it!!!!
May 4th, 2012 at 9:52 am
Pretty close to perfect, and definitely would be interested in purchasing it. I might move the bowl a bit off-center, so it’s easier to drink from without gettign the back of your head wet. I wonder if he takes comissions…

Looks fantastic. Also looks expensive. One can dream.

Very beautiful clean design. so contemporary looking. looks like water cycles through. My cats would live it, they all prefer to drink from the running faucet. COOL
May 4th, 2012 at 10:12 am
I LOVE this fountain, and I know all 9 of my cats would as well!!!!!
May 4th, 2012 at 11:01 am
love it, i would get one too!
May 4th, 2012 at 11:30 am
I just love this. It truly a pice of art. I would love to have this, I don’t like the bowl mommy gives us.

Oh, I agree 100% While I prefer the pottery type aesthetically, this looks like it has “CATS” written all over it. My calico girl, specifically. She LOVES water sports.
May 4th, 2012 at 12:36 pm
this is awesome!! I would def invest in these if Marc ever decided to sell, my cats LOVE running water and the design is so modern it would match my kitchen perfect and I could toss the plastic one or may use that for my lil ferals outside =)
May 4th, 2012 at 2:35 pm
very chic!
May 4th, 2012 at 2:58 pm
Yes it is modern and artsy but as the picture shows water is splashing out all over. A person would need a good sized towel under it to keep the floor from getting ruined. Also if you have hard water that will stain the outside of this pretty quickly. I am hoping the guy who designed the Glacier Point Fountain will see this and maybe redesign his fountain and make it look nicer. While his is I think the healthiest fountain for cats to drink from it is also the most unsightly!
May 4th, 2012 at 7:42 pm
Oh I do hope he makes these for sale regularly! Or at least if we knew a price on range on the custom version we might even consider commissioning one.
May 5th, 2012 at 11:42 am
Stainless running water What Moose wouldn’t do to have this as his. I wouldn’t have to get up to turn off the water faucet all night long.
May 5th, 2012 at 7:48 pm
I like it!!! the material and the design!!
May 5th, 2012 at 10:17 pm
that is really cool and slick. I really like that the stainless steel is not shiny. I have a Pioneer Raindrop Fountain that my cat Toki loves, but the stainless steel is shiny, which I think looks less modern.
But for drinking, I think my cat would like this fountain better if the flow was slower- he likes it when I turn the faucet to a narrow stream. If it was as powerful as in the photo, he would most likely use it for playing. Also, I think the basin part is set too far back. Otherwise, I totally agree with Stephanie’s comment above that I wish the Glacier Point Fountain people would take notes on the aesthetics of this design. I had been considering buying a Glacier Point fountain but it was so damn homely, and too big for my space, so I bought the Pioneer Raindrop. Toki likes it even though it doesn’t have the waterfall action.

Its like drinking from the sink
May 6th, 2012 at 12:56 pm
Love the design. I would definitely purchase this for my cats if he put them up for sale.
May 9th, 2012 at 9:22 pm
What a well thought of and handsomlely crafted water fountain for our “faucet drinkers”. My cats would go gaga for something like this.
May 10th, 2012 at 6:35 am
My kitty loves drinking from the facet-he will love this fountain1
May 10th, 2012 at 6:36 am
Oops. faucet!
May 14th, 2012 at 9:47 am
Now that’s a cool drinking fountain! Miss Penelope will be sure to get her daily quota of water with this!
May 15th, 2012 at 2:29 am
That is so cool! Love the look and the function!

It’s gorgeous. Perhaps Marc can make use of this faucet on eBay to make another model/prototype: “Waterfall Modern Bathroom Vessel Vanity Sink Lavatory Faucet Chrome New”
