This month’s big giveaway is for one of the coolest modern cat scratchers ever! It’s the CatScratch from Urban Cat Design. This unique wall-mounted scratcher gives kitties a corner surface to sink their claws into. You know how much they love the corner of the sofa? Well, here’s a corner that they are free to go-to-town on, plus the carpet insert can be replaced when it’s worn, or if you just want to try a different color.
The CatScratch is hand spray painted with three layers of “catnail resistant” finish in crisp modern white. There are nine different carapet colors to choose from. The scratcher measures about 19.5″ tall and can be positioned at any height on the wall. The CatScratch sells for €269, or about $333 US.

I love these! The idea is brilliant, and the execution is flawless! I would love to add these gorgeous works of functional modern art to my home decor – something the cats are allowed to scratch! I don’t know which color I’d choose though. I have a very bright and colorful home and almost any color would work – My favorites are aqua, vermillion, lime, and magenta.

What a great idea, to be able to mount this scratcher at any height. When my cat stands on her hind legs, she’s really got quite a reach! I love the ochre and cognac colors.

My two cats love to scratch corners, this would be perfect! I put double sided tape on the corners of my couch and one of them figured out how to pull it off with his teeth…

I’d love one of these for my baby Skittles. We’ve only had her a week and she’s already scratching up everything in site, so this would really help save our furniture as she’s only ten weeks old and I don’t want her forming any bad scratching habits!!
