It’s that time of year again, time to nominate your favorite pet blogs for the 2012 Petties Awards! Sponsored by Dogtime Media, the Petties are a prestigious award for pet bloggers and last year we were honored to win the Pettie for Best Blog Design. Petties are awarded to the top pet blogs in ten categories, and each of the winner’s receives a $1,000 donation to the animal-related charity of their choice.
Your Favorite Animal Shelter Could Win $10,000!
This year Dogtime Media has added an incredible new twist to the contest. Everytime you nominate a blog for the 2012 Petties Awards, you can enter your favorite animal shelter for a chance to win $10,000! It’s easy to do, and you can nominate every day between now and June 29.
Nominate Moderncat for Best Designed Blog
We’d be honored to be nominated again this year for Best Designed Blog. All you have to do to is visit the Petties Nomination Center and enter the following information in the Best Designed Blog category:
- Nominee URL: www.moderncat.net
- Shelter Nomination for $10K Pre-Petties Donation Contest: Enter the name of your favorite shelter
You can enter a nomination once a day every day between now and June 29. The shelter with the most nominations will receive the $10,000 donation and the blogs with the most nominations will go on to the final round of voting for the 2012 Petties Awards.
The winning shelter will be announced on July 16, 2012. Voting for the nominated blogs will begin later this summer. The winners will be announced during an online ceremony in September.
