The Catification Lounge was a showcase of some of my favorite modern cat products, all on display for attendees to see firsthand. The lounge was packed full of modern cat scratchers, cat trees, litter boxes, beds, toys and much, much more. I’d like to thank all of the companies who participated:

Several celebri-cats visited the lounge during the conference, including Coco from Curlz and Swirlz, Pumpkin Puddy, and Zeus & Phoebe. Gracey, The Tiniest Tiger, and Pimp from Your Daily Cute both made appearances in flat cat form, and to prove that we don’t discriminate in the Catification Lounge, we let Manny and Marcuz from The Enlightened Ferret enjoy the lounge, too!

I love attending BlogPaws because I have a chance to meet up with some of my favorite cat bloggers including Robin from Covered in Cat Hair, Ingrid from The Conscious Cat, Tamar from I Have Cat, Angie from Catladyland, Deb from The Chronicles of Zee and Zoey, new friend Debbie from Glogirly, Stephanie from Catsparella, Janea from Paws and Effect, Joanne from The Tiniest Tiger Conservation Cub Club, Karen from Mousebreath, Dorian from Your Daily Cute, Stacey from Pets Weekly, Teri from Curlz and Swirlz, Caroline from Romeo the Cat, Janiss from Sparkle the Cat, Amy from Sebastian the Sensitive Soul, Rachel from We Have a Situation, and Ashley and Nikki from I Love Rescue Animals. I also got to meet Dusty Rainbolt from the Cat Writers’ Association, as well as the fabulous singing cat lady Sarah Donner.

There was another special guest at the conference this year, Moki Fogg, A.K.A. The Wobbly Cat, and his mom Crystal. Moki has a mysterious neurological condition and is undergoing extensive rehabilitation. Moki’s story serves to educate people about special needs pets and what can be done for them. He is an incredible little guy with a huge spirit. It was an honor to meet him!

So what happened to all of the goodies in the lounge at the end of the conference, you ask? Everyone who stopped by the lounge had the chance to fill out an entry form and we did a big drawing at the end to give everything away. All of the larger items in the lounge were donated to local animal shelter, Friends of Animals Utah for their cat room. We will share photos of the finished room as soon as everything is set-up.
I have to thank the BlogPaws team for asking me to be there with the Catification Lounge, and I cannot forget to thank Peter Wolf from Vox Felina and Jill Delzer owner of Ally McPets Pet Sitting and a member of the Jackson Galaxy/Spirit Essences team for all their help in the lounge.

Zero Odor
ZERO ODOR GIVEAWAY! ENTER TO WIN!
The Catification Lounge was sponsored by Zero Odor, one of my favorite odor elimination products. They do a live demo with red onions that will knock your socks off! Onions that will make you cry are rendered almost completely odorless after a few sprays with Zero Odor. Very impressive!
We gave away lots of samples of Zero Odor in the lounge, and they don’t want you to feel left out, so they are offering a special prize package to five lucky readers! Five winners will each receive a Pet Multi Kit, including three 16 oz bottles of Zero Odor, one each of their Pet Spray, Litter Spray, and new Pet Stain Remover. The kit sells for $34.95.
To enter to win, please leave a comment on this post. The winner will be chosen in a random drawing and announced on July 2, 2012. One entry per person. This giveaway is limited to addresses in the US.
