The Catification Lounge was a showcase of some of my favorite modern cat products, all on display for attendees to see firsthand. Jackson Galaxy and I put together some “Catification Tips” for creating truly cat-friendly environments, which you will hear more about soon. The Catification Lounge was sponsored by the folks at Zero Odor.

Scratch Lounge, Mountain Cat Trees Sisal Scratchers, Kittyblocks, PetFusion Lounge, Catpod, Kitty Speed Bump, Square Cat Habitat Itch and Lo Scratchers.
The lounge was packed full of modern cat scratchers, cat trees, litter boxes, beds, toys and much, much more. I’d like to thank all of the companies who participated:

Several celebri-cats visited the lounge during the conference, including Coco from Curlz and Swirlz, Pumpkin Puddy, and Zeus & Phoebe. Gracey, The Tiniest Tiger, and Pimp from Your Daily Cute both made appearances in flat cat form, and to prove that we don’t discriminate in the Catification Lounge, we let Manny and Marcuz from The Enlightened Ferret enjoy the lounge, too!

Coco from Curlz and Swirlz enjoys a drink from a handmade cat fountain by Keith Davitt; Pumpkin snuggles into the Cat Ball.

Manny from The Enlightened Ferret enjoying the Hepper Pod Bed; Zeus & Phoebe loved the Contoure Cat Tower from Whisker Studio

I love attending BlogPaws because I have a chance to meet up with some of my favorite cat bloggers including Robin from Covered in Cat Hair, Ingrid from The Conscious Cat, Tamar from I Have Cat, Angie from Catladyland, Deb from The Chronicles of Zee and Zoey, new friend Debbie from Glogirly, Stephanie from Catsparella, Janea from Paws and Effect, Joanne from The Tiniest Tiger Conservation Cub Club, Karen from Mousebreath, Dorian from Your Daily Cute, Stacey from Pets Weekly, Teri from Curlz and Swirlz, Caroline from Romeo the Cat, Janiss from Sparkle the Cat, Amy from Sebastian the Sensitive Soul, Rachel from We Have a Situation, and Ashley and Nikki from I Love Rescue Animals. I also got to meet Dusty Rainbolt from the Cat Writers’ Association, as well as the fabulous singing cat lady Sarah Donner.

There was another special guest at the conference this year, Moki Fogg, A.K.A. The Wobbly Cat, and his mom Crystal. Moki has a mysterious neurological condition and is undergoing extensive rehabilitation. Moki’s story serves to educate people about special needs pets and what can be done for them. He is an incredible little guy with a huge spirit. It was an honor to meet him!

So what happened to all of the goodies in the lounge at the end of the conference, you ask? Everyone who stopped by the lounge had the chance to fill out an entry form and we did a big drawing at the end to give everything away. All of the larger items in the lounge were donated to local animal shelter, Friends of Animals Utah for their cat room. We will share photos of the finished room as soon as everything is set-up.
I have to thank the BlogPaws team for asking me to be there with the Catification Lounge, and I cannot forget to thank Peter Wolf from Vox Felina and Jill Delzer owner of Ally McPets Pet Sitting and a member of the Jackson Galaxy/Spirit Essences team for all their help in the lounge.

Zero Odor
ZERO ODOR GIVEAWAY! ENTER TO WIN!
The Catification Lounge was sponsored by Zero Odor, one of my favorite odor elimination products. They do a live demo with red onions that will knock your socks off! Onions that will make you cry are rendered almost completely odorless after a few sprays with Zero Odor. Very impressive!
We gave away lots of samples of Zero Odor in the lounge, and they don’t want you to feel left out, so they are offering a special prize package to five lucky readers! Five winners will each receive a Pet Multi Kit, including three 16 oz bottles of Zero Odor, one each of their Pet Spray, Litter Spray, and new Pet Stain Remover. The kit sells for $34.95.
To enter to win, please leave a comment on this post. The winner will be chosen in a random drawing and announced on July 2, 2012. One entry per person. This giveaway is limited to addresses in the US.

Yay for no odors!
June 25th, 2012 at 2:20 pm
This sounds amazing. I have an elderly cat that has started to have a few accidents around the house, and this would help with the lingering odor.
June 25th, 2012 at 2:20 pm
I could sure use this. Between my two babies and fosters it would come in handy.
June 25th, 2012 at 2:21 pm
I would just love to win for my 2 cats i adopted from a shelter.
June 25th, 2012 at 2:21 pm

June 25th, 2012 at 2:23 pm
I have used this product before and it really works. I would love to win this to help with the foster kittens, cats and my own cats
June 25th, 2012 at 2:23 pm
Lots of cool things at this event. Would end up treating my cats far too much. Really like the look of the Hepper Nom Nom dishes. The Zero Odor stuff looks fantastic. Probably much better than the litter deodorant I’m using at the minute for my smelly two (especially Felix he seems to leave the most toxic deposits and half the time doesn’t cover them up!).
June 25th, 2012 at 2:24 pm
What a fun post with all the new products!
Peeve and I would love to win this!
June 25th, 2012 at 2:25 pm

June 25th, 2012 at 2:25 pm

June 25th, 2012 at 2:48 pm

June 25th, 2012 at 2:48 pm
This would help tremendously. Boy kitties are stinky!
June 25th, 2012 at 2:49 pm
I totally need this for our stinky cat box and geriatric cat.
June 25th, 2012 at 2:51 pm
My girlfriend has four wonderfully delightful kittahs. Two (brother and sister) were adopted from the Macy’s window in San Francisco several years ago. The third kittah belonged to her mom who passed away two years ago and the fourth kittah joined the family when his original owner was no longer able to care for him.
I know she wouldn’t have planned to have four cats and I also know that now she wouldn’t have it any other way.
But the room with the litter box can get a little smelly.
June 25th, 2012 at 2:53 pm
This would definitely be helpful in my tiny studio that I share with two bengals!
June 25th, 2012 at 2:55 pm
Our seven kitties would love this kit. Somebody is always having an “accident”.
June 25th, 2012 at 2:55 pm
We’d love to win!
June 25th, 2012 at 2:55 pm
It’s great stuff and I’m almost out!
June 25th, 2012 at 2:55 pm
Great kit!
June 25th, 2012 at 2:56 pm
Oh we definitely need this!
June 25th, 2012 at 2:56 pm
Me! Me! Please pick me!!!
) I hope I’m the lucky winner of one of these; fingers and toes crossed!!!
We recently adopted a gorgeous kitten, Pixie, and man…..she has some strong #1 and #2 odor!!! Our resident cat, Jasmin, has never been this smelly!!
Needless to say this would help me a ton (especially cause her safe space is the bathroom in my room
June 25th, 2012 at 2:58 pm

June 25th, 2012 at 3:08 pm

June 25th, 2012 at 3:15 pm
This would be fabulous!!
June 25th, 2012 at 3:15 pm
I just started using this product and it really works good, not only cleaning the occasional out of the box “accident” but refreshing the room in general. Would love to get the Pet Multi Kit, thanks.
