Can this be purchased elsewhere other than Amazon? Amazon allowed identify theft/fraud to occur on my account,. made matters worse by turning over the unauthorized purchase to a collection agency, triggering even worse issues. I refuse to ever purchase from Amazon again, including amazing cat products such as this one.

I’m worried about the reviews regarding mold on the cat loungers– does anyone have recent experience with that?

I did receive one that had a damp smell to it. The Petfusion owner was right on top of it once he started getting a couple complaints on Amazon and he actually contacted customers himself to see if they were having any problems with the product. They believed that it was the result of a few select cases where the manufacturer did not allow the lounge to dry for an appropriate amount of time before shrink-wrapping and packaging it. There were plenty of great reviews around that time so it sounded like just a very small number were affected.
I have to say Petfusion has EXCELLENT customer service. Our new Petfusion Scratcher Lounge is scheduled to arrive today. Can’t wait. Since I have 2 cats I will most likely order a second one as they love it so much.
Highly recommend this scratcher.

Erica, we do have plenty of scratchers and cat furniture made in the U.S. but always looking for more. Thank you for pointing the Infinity Cat Scratcher out to me! Looks like almost the same product as this one but made in the U.S. and costs less money.
