I’ve always found Jamie Shelman’s Dancing Cat illustrations to be quite therapeutic. There’s nothing better than a good laugh to turn things around! Here are two new drawings that might be just what the doctor ordered:
Group Hug
Everyone can benefit from a group hug sometimes, and how much better does it get than a group hug with four Dancing Cats? I want to be in the middle of that.
Be Brave
We all need a little shot of bravery when things start to get us down. Sometimes you just have to call on your inner beast to get through it. Our little lions are very good at this.

As a lioness myself, I would have to pick, Be Brave, though I love a group hug. Lions are very skilled in the area of hugging as we are meaty, soft and furry. I have decided to go with the group hug, Hugs are like giant erasers: they make everything the way it is supposed to be. As my great Uncle Tony used to say, “GRRRREAT”.

Be Brave would fit the bill. I’m tending the “Zoo” alone for the next few days and not feeling very confident about it. We moved to MS with 2 cats and due to taking in strangers we now have 5 dogs and 6 cats.

Group hug reminds me of my furry babies all cuddled together on my bad. Very stressful at work right now so the image of being part of a cat cuddle huddle is soothing!

For me it would “Be Brave.” I have been unemployed for a year and a half, and everyday that I get up out of bed is a constant struggle. My cats and dogs give me the strength to “Be Brave,” to apply for another job. And right now I am just days away from a second interview for a job I really want, and I am scared to death and need to be reminded that being brave will get me the job, so I can spoil my babies again.
