This dapper dude driving a speedster was created by French graphic artist Jean Colin as part of a 1950s advertising campaign for auto equipment company Marchal. There’s an original poster available now on 1stdibs.com, but don’t faint when you see the price ($7,200!) Maybe you’ll come across one in a thrift store someday.
Thanks to Peter for the find.

I used to prefer Marchal driving lights over Cibie just because of the cat! The have, or had, anyway, a cat on the lens!

That would decorate the home nicely.
(My human screamed when she saw the price and explained: why did I throw away my old posters?)
