Here’s a fun Friday giveaway! It’s your chance to win a full case of 50 Stretch and Scratch scratchers to be donated directly to your favorite cat shelter or rescue! The lovely folks at Stretch and Scratch created their entire business around improving the lives of cats by making and selling these awesome little scratchers. The scratchers help kitties living temporally in caged environments by providing them with exercise and entertainment, plus when the cats get adopted and go to their new homes, they can take their scratcher with them for a little extra comfort.

ENTER TO WIN FOR YOUR FAVORITE CAT SHELTER!
Just like with all of our giveaways, please leave a comment on this post to enter, but be sure to tell us the name and website (if available) of the cat shelter or rescue where you will donate the Stretch and Scratch scratchers if you win. Any cat rescue organization that could benefit from the Stretch and Scratch scratchers is eligible, they don’t need to have a shelter facility. Foster-based rescues also need to place cats in cages during adoption events, so the scratchers would be great for them, too.
The winner will be chosen in a random drawing and announced on September 14, 2012. One entry per person, please. This giveaway includes free shipping in the continental US, so if you’re outside that area, please feel free to enter as long as the shelter you’re picking is in the continental US.

I volunteer at Cat’s Cradle shelter in Fargo, ND. We are a small shelter with a big heart and have used these small scratchers in our isolation units. They are a wonderful distraction for the kitties who are ill or the new ones to the shelter who are temporarily kept in cages until tested and given shots. We would love to win a case of these wonderful scratchers. Thanks!

This would be wonderful for our local shelter The Huntindon County Humane Society. They have struggled this last year for the first time to remain open due to the bad economy. They worked non-stop to come up with the funding to stay open for one more year any little bit of help they can get means less money going out and more for the animals.

I cannot win since I live in Canada but I would like to have my name entered and if it is drawn please give the prize to my favorite US shelter/rescue. Maureen is an amazing woman who rescues and takes care of special needs cats who otherwise would have been PTS. They stay with her until they find a loving home or go to the Bridge.

I have always been a cat lover and like to give them as much exercise as possible. If they can’t get out doors than they need something to get agresive with by nature. Scratching boards are a great idea. It’s better than your arm.

I’d really love these scartchers to go to Daily Dose of Dogs and Cats. It’s a small rescue run by a woman who is tirelessly devoted to loving and rehoming any dog or cat that crosses her path and is in need. This lady is personally funded, so her budget is tiny. She would really benefit from these scratchers an awful lot.

Our local SPCA is in the process of becoming a no kill shelter and they could use all the help they can get. The people who work and volunteer there are some of the best you will find. I have also fostered pregnant cats and kittens and this is a wonderful program and helps handle the overload of cats and kittens and gives them a chance at life. I can think of no organization that deserves this gift more.
