Here we go again, recycling stuff at Moderncat Studio! We just can’t throw anything out, especially those colorful plastic cat food bags (and there are so many of them because we feed lots of feral cats!) We first re-purposed the bags to make our popular Junk Food Flyers. Now we have a fun accessory for feeding time! It’s the Junk Food Mat, a kitty placemat made from recycled cat food bags.
We sew together colorful strips of clean recycled cat food bags, then add a non-slip backing and vinyl binding and voila! A cute and colorful feeding placemat that can be easily wiped clean with a sponge. Every Junk Food Mat is unique. They are available from the Moderncat Studio Etsy shop for $20.
