Neko Flies just launched a set of brand new attachments for their wildly popular wand toys and they sent us some to test. I let my newest product tester, Little Bear, have a look and he approves! BIG TIME! These three new attachments are mind-blowing!
The new collection features little design elements that will drive cats crazy. The new Foxifur Kittenator attachment is made with a little bit of faux fur attached to a “head” that’s perfect for grabbing onto, as Little Bear demonstrates above. Actually, I have to pry it out of his mouth, he loves it so much. It is just the right size and texture and the tail wiggles just like a live critter (but it’s cruelty-free!). It’s Little Bear’s new favorite thing.
The new Kattipede attachment is another awesome little creature that has two segments, which makes it jiggle and wiggle around. And the dangly little legs and antennae are irresistible.
Rounding out the new collection is the Kittycaterfly with shimmering butterfly wings that catch kitty’s eye as they fly by, causing serious pouncing and chasing. Just like all the other Neko Flies cat toys, the new offerings are very sturdy.

I recently bought the “catarantula” neko fly for my cats and I can’t recommend it enough! Neither of my cats have been so active since introducing this. I really believe they think its a real bug. They chase after it harder than any other toy, and will pretty much perform any acrobatic trick to get to it. I think we’ve all seen how excited our cats get when there is a bug or mouse in the house, and this toy has seemed to bring out that excitement and those hunting instincts in my cats! My older cat hardly bothered with toys before, but she goes nuts for this- the one day she ran herself so hard she started panting, which worried me a little but we are more careful now to not get too overly excited =).

neko flies are the best! i have many of these critters stocked up as my cats go through these like potato chips (they last long, just that i play with them a lot and my boy cat is a destroyer!). i would love to donate these to my local cat shelter, a tiny little place on 8th Street called Lillie’s Place. they do an amazing job and it will do wonders for them. they have a small room in the back where cats play and i think they will really appreicate these.

My cat’s favorite toy is Da Bird (thank you ModernCat for introducing us to this toy). However, she has no teeth and gets frustrated when she tries to grab and hold on to the feather because it’s not comfortable in her mouth. The foxifur would be a great alternative for her I think. Soft enough to sink her mouth into. I would love to win one of these to try, but it’s definitely going on my list of toys to buy for her. Since my cat and I live in a very small apartment – I love when her toys can turn playtime into exercise time.

I have never seen these, but my good little hunters would love them! It would distract them from sobbing at the windows wishing they could go outside and catch squirrels. Safer, cleaner, and much more fun.
