This would be very special to me, in honor of my kitty Kasper, who crossed the bridge in April due to cancer. She was a rescue, who battled chronic inflammation, glaucoma, kidney disease, dental disease, cardio-myopathy, pyelonephritis, and in the end, lung cancer. She was with me almost 14 years. Her glaucoma became uncontrollable after about 5 years, so I had her eye removed. From that time on, she was nicknamed “Yarg!” She loved this name, and would always say it back to you. My son would tease and tell her she also needed a peg leg, told her “say Yarg! if you want a peg leg”, and of course she always answered.
When she died, he said he wanted to get an eye patch for her urn.
