I just love the Sneak Peek series over at Design*Sponge, which takes you into some of the loveliest homes of designers and artists, many of which include cats. These two handsome fellows were recently featured in different posts. The adorable black cat is Alfred, whose parents are Ida and Pierre-Edouard. They live together in their gorgeous Paris apartment.

The fluffy fellow, who looks a bit like my McKinley, is Basil sitting on his favorite chair in the London home of wedding photographer Polly Alexandre. Such beautiful additions the kitties make to these stunning homes.

One of our favorite Moderncat designers, Crystal Gregory, owner of Modernist Cat, and her husband Gregory opened their fabulous mod home for a house tour over on Apartment Therapy. The photos show off their cool pad as well as their gorgeous Sphynxes. Check out the whole tour here.

Just spotted these two beauties on Design*Sponge. The lovely cow cat is Christy at home in her London flat, also home of designer Jimmie Martin and photographer Rick Schultz. The beautiful calico is Dagmar who lives with her sister, Bug, and her mom and dad Alison Feldmann and Jeff Bergstrom in their Brooklyn railroad apartment.

Design*Sponge recently featured the home of illustrator Raymond Biesinger and his clothing/accessories-designer wife, Elizabeth Hudson, and look who showed up for the photo shoot, a beautiful graybie! I love his antique tea cup feeding dishes, and he has the Loyal Luxe Kitty Tee Pee. Lucky kitty!

Jamie over at Design-Milk (my favorite design blog, and the only one I read every day), just posted this incredible modern villa on the island of Mallorca in Spain. Designed by tecArchitecture with interior design by Marcel Wanders Studio, this home is simply stunning, but the best feature: CATS!

These two moderncats were spotted on Apartment Therapy recently in Alison & Jeff’s Happening Home. This Minneapolis rental has loads of mid-century modern charm, and the tuxedo sure looks good with the checkerboard floor!

A recent sighting on Dwell.com finds this lucky moderncat, Miu Miu, sitting on a George Nelson bench surveying the status of her owner’s renovation project. The funny folks over at Unhappy Hipsters captioned this lovely photo quite well:

“This new box looked nothing like the model. Once again, the humans had failed.”

Moderncat reader Deb Schimmel and her beautiful cat Dusty, were recently featured in Time Out Chicago showing off their incredibly cool loft. Deb’s eclectic, but modern, decorating style includes mid-century modern pieces along side an Otis and Claude climber and a fabulous 70s-style portrait of Dusty painted by a friend. Love the frame!

Architect Tazmine Loomans and her husband Paul share their remodeled duplex in Central Phoenix with their two cats Bamboo and Reggie (shown above napping on the blue sofa). Read more about this eco-friendly remodel here.

In a recent photo shoot for Esquire magazine, three stylish cats posed for photographer Dan Burn-Forti and showed that they not only have fashion sense, but that they have very expensive taste. First, we have a very handsome Siamese named Macy, who is testing out a red leather bag by Tom Ford. Next, Indie checks out a taupe leather tote by Valextra and then a purple leather tote by Mulberry.

And here we have Delta sporting a snappy bow tie from Dolce & Gabbana while Indie models his Paul Smith polka dot tie. What a face!

One of my favorite blogs, decor8, recently did an interview with design writer Maryam Montague and gave readers a peek at her beautiful home office nestled away at the top of a 3-story tower in an olive grove in Marrakech. This handsome tabby was spotted snoozing at his home in the Hollywood Hills in a recent issue of Ty Pennington’s At Home magazine. This lucky moderncat shares his beautiful mid-century modern house with actress Constance Zimmer, Russ Lamoureux, and their daughter Colette.

I just got the March issue of Metropolitan Home and it contains not one, but two moderncat sightings! First, the cover features a beautiful orange and white bi-color moderncat named Oliver lounging on a celadon chaise in the living room of his modern, eco-friendly rammed earth house in Aspen. In a different article, Loulou luxuriates in the master bedroom of her mom and dad’s contemporary high-rise apartment in Washington, D.C. overlooking the Potomac. Those are both some lucky cats!

Check out the place that this handsome cat gets to call home. Fetaured on a recent AT House Tour, Marvimon is an incredible industrial loft space in Los Angeles that functions as home to owners Sherry and Miguel as well as a location for high-end special events.
